The taste is mild, slightly apple-like, with a distinct berry after flavour without having high levels of stimulants which sets Guaraná Antarctica apart from other soft drinks.

Guaraná lemonades are the most popular soft drink among Brazilians. The most famous manufacturer Guaraná Antarctica introduced this Guarana lemonade almost 100 years ago. They are the official sponsor of the Brazilian national football team.

The Guarana seeds grow in the Amazon region and have been known to the Indians living there for centuries. The stimulating properties of guarana seeds are similar to caffeine in coffee, only lasting longer.
