Kraus Organic Mate Gourmet has a superior grade of yerba leaves and a low content of powder. This is a top quality yerba to try! It is produced following a unique drying process which consists of indirect warming through heat produced by a boiler. Because of this a smoke-free yerba is obtained, with a really smooth taste and fine flavour.

Kraus has been producing yerba since the beginning of 20th century according to family tradition. Their plantations are located in Colonia Santo Domingo Savio, San Ignacio, Misiones, Argentina.

Yerba mate from Kraus is an organic product, free from chemicals and produced in an agro-ecological way. Kraus stimulates biodiversity in agricultural crops and natural processes such as pest control and nutrient cycling. They follow Fair Trade principles and do not use child labour, promote safe workplaces and appropriate hygiene, give equal opportunities to both men and women and they guarantee fair wages to employees. In addition, Kraus employees receive a percentage of the profit.
