Legui – Sugar Cane Liquor 700 ml
The Legui liquor is the most traditional liqueur of Argentina, made in the province of San Juan by extracting sugar cane and herbs. Its name is dedicated to famous jockey Irenaeus Leguizamo, whose outstanding horsemanship has brought him victories in over 3200 races in Argentina and 32 triumphs in international competitions in his long career. A great tribute to the best jockey in Latin American equestrian history.
It is a fine liqueur made from cane sugar, infused with herbs, caramel and citrus. Legui sugar cane liquor is drunk straight or with ice, as well as an ingredient in cocktails:
Cocktail Legui & Tonic: 50 ml Lequi, filled with tonic water.
Irenaeus: 50 ml Legui , 30 ml grapefruit juice, 10 ml lemon juice, supplemented with soda.
Julep 1944: 50 ml Legui, mint leaves, lemon juice, syrup, apple tea and cinnamon.
