Founded in 1930, Productores de Yerba Mate de Santo Pipó SCL is a cooperative of producers and created by a group of Swiss immigrants who settled in Santo Pipó, Misiones, Argentina.

For several years, yerba mate was processed by this Cooperative only to supply different milling companies. They then packaged and sold it with their respective brands on the market. It was not until the beginning of 1960 that Piporé was created, began to be marketed in Argentina and later abroad.

Nowadays, the brand is among the 10 largest companies of yerba mate in the country and is the second exporter worldwide.

Piporé Especial has been stored for about 18 months and has a low percentage of stems. It has a strong and pleasant taste due to the selection of only the best yerba. Its specially designed four-layer package ensures a lasting quality.
