Dulce de Leche – San Ignacio 450 g
The history of San Ignacio began in 1939 in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, when Don Ignacio Rodríguez Soto decided to embark on the adventure of dairy production. Little by little, products were distributed throughout the country, which led to the need to expand by moving the manufacturing plant to Sauce Viejo in 1997. Just a year later, in August 1998, the company acquired a new plant in the city of Hypatia.
Dulce de leche is a milk based caramel spread that is especially popular all over Latin America. The ingredients are milk, sugar and vanilla. It is prepared by slowly heating sweetened milk to create a product that is vaguely similar in taste to caramel.
This spread is children’s and adult’s favorite. Delicious straight out of the pot onto toast or croissants, poured warm over ice cream or pancakes, or as icing for that special cake. It’s an essential ingredient for banoffee pie and simply wonderful stirred into yogurt.
San Ignacio is one of the biggest and most popular brands in Argentina.
