Founded in 1935, Viu Manent’s long history has been guided by the family’s love of the trade and its unending commitment to excellence and the quality of their wines. Viu Manent wines are made with grapes from their own properties in the Colchagua Valley in Chile’s Central Zone, 130 km southeast of the capital, Santiago.

Viu Manent’s Carménère Gran Reserva has a deep red colour with tints of violet, with an authentic spicy character featuring blue fruits and subtle notes of toasted coffee. It is a balanced wine with a rich texture and reactive tannins, giving an enjoyable and long finish.

Ideal for chicken in a mustard sauce, or rabbit, either marinated or grilled. Also great with dishes spiced with curry and Latin American dishes with corn.
