Founded in 1935, Viu Manent’s long history has been guided by the family’s love of the trade and its unending commitment to excellence and the quality of their wines. Viu Manent wines are made with grapes from their own properties in the Colchagua Valley in Chile’s Central Zone, 130 km southeast of the capital, Santiago.

Viu Manent’s Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva is deep red in colour. On the nose, the aromas are principally of red fruit, cassis, ripe figs, with subtle confit notes and some spices like white pepper. On the palate there’s good structure, with sweet tannins balanced by good acidity. The finish is pleasant and delicate with a fruity aftertaste.

Pairs with pot roast, polenta with stewed mushrooms, or cuts of beef on the grill.
