Palm hearts from Ecuador – Hellriegel 800 g
Palm hearts are harvested from the soft core of a palm tree. They are traditionally cultivated and extremely popular in South American cuisine.
Its fine taste is reminiscent of soured artichokes and goes well with salads and seafood dishes. They also taste excellent baked, with a béchamel sauce to cook cooked ham and alongside pizza. The easiest way to serve them is to cut them in thick slices with vinegar and oil.
