Yerba mate Playadito looks back on more than 90 years of history. It all started in 1926 when a group of German immigrants founded a cooperative in Liebig, Corrientes, Argentina. Today it is made up of over 130 associated agricultural producers dedicated to the processing, marketing and distribution of yerba mate.

Playadito Despalada is produced with utmost dedication and years of experience. Each step is carefully monitored, from the selection of seedlings, drying the yerba to packaging the final product. The result is a yerba mate that contains little powder, fine leaves and a maximum of 5% stems. It has slightly bitter taste that melts nicely in your mouth after serving.
